Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and references to you include that organization.

AEO.day is an Answer Engine Optimization monitoring platform. It samples AI answer engines on a schedule, detects brand mentions and citations in the returned answers, and reports visibility trends with confidence intervals. The service is provided on an as available basis, and we may add, change, or remove features over time.

You are responsible for the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service.

You agree not to misuse the service. Among other things, you may not: use the service to violate any law or the rights of others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its related systems; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service; resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted by your plan (for example, agency workspaces and white-label reporting where included); or submit data you do not have the right to submit.

We offer a free plan and we intend to keep a free plan available. That said, free features are provided at no charge and without a purchase commitment. We may modify, limit, or discontinue free features at any time. Where practical we will give notice of material changes to free features. Paid plan entitlements are governed by the plan you purchase and by these terms.

The service reports on answers, mentions, and citations generated by third-party AI engines and search systems. AI engine answers and citations are generated by third parties. We present them as observed and do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. AI engines are nondeterministic: identical prompts can return different answers from one run to the next. Our metrics describe patterns across repeated samples, not guarantees about any single answer or any individual user experience.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Paid plans include a 14 day free trial. After the trial ends you are charged the plan price unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees are stated in US dollars and exclude taxes, which we may add where required. We may change prices with notice; changes apply to billing periods that begin after the notice.

Our refund and cancellation terms are described on our Refunds page. In short: the trial is free, cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current period, and we do not provide partial period refunds by default. The service, including its software, design, and content that we create, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms. You retain ownership of the data you submit. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that data as needed to operate and improve the service. Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or obligation.

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any metric will produce a particular business outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the last updated date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Law / Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law rules. The courts located in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
